About Us
The founding partners of Bennett & Harker, Malia Bennett and McKenzie Harker, have almost 20 years of combined immigration law experience, working primarily at non-profit agencies in Portland, Oregon. They have extensive experience helping immigrants and their families apply for and maintain legal status in the U.S. Prior to founding Bennett & Harker Malia and McKenzie worked together at the Victim Rights Law Center where they represented immigrant survivors of gender-based violence.

McKenzie Harker
McKenzie graduated Cum Laude from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon in 2013. She has lived in Spain, Costa Rica, and Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish. When she's not advocating for the rights of immigrants, McKenzie enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Malia Bennett

Malia graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2012. She has lived in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. Malia was born and raised in Portland and has two children. She enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
